Sherlock's in Ahaus

Very tasty food and drinks. High quality meat in the steak dishes and a good selection of dishes - also for non-meat eaters. The ambience is really like the living room of Sherlock Holmes. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. I always like to go to Sherlock's!

All in all very good. Food has a quality that matches the price. But you could improve the acoustics in the restaurant, the reverberation time is quite high. Even if only a few tables are occupied, you can hear almost every spoken word.

To eat with 6 people Conclusion: the burger miserable, the meat dry and bland. Pepper steak was okay Rumpsteak was okay Cream of asparagus was ok Dessert was great. All in all, okay, was nice to have been there, but we are not regular customers, but the food was not enough

Sherlocks is part of a concept where you have the opportunity to visit the adjacent pub and café. They work with an app and payment goes through special cards that you also have to recharge to pay. Very cumbersome when you do not come regularly. The atmosphere was good, the restaurant cozy. The service was friendly and helpful. However, the food was relatively expensive. From our group someone had ordered the chicken fillet and got a leg. The "fried mushrooms" of the card were simply baked, somewhat tough mushrooms, where the name made for something deep-fried. Similarly with the side dish "baked beans" which turned out to be green beans. Maybe not so useful to give English names to dishes, when the meaning of these words does not match what you get served.

Crime dinner at Sherlock's is highly recommended. Ambience, entertainment, food is fantastic !!!

I can recommend this place to anyone who loves a great atmosphere and love good food. The medium steam was first class. Ribs where excellent and the crumble sweet. Staff was very quick and forthcoming.

The ambience is highly recommended, but then it gets less, the service tried hard. Orders were not combined correctly. I can only say about the food if there is no meat juice coming from a medium rare steak, something is wrong ... The dessert was good to save.
